# BrokerMeta.ai — Broker Data Infrastructure

> What BrokerMeta is, the problem it solves, and the whole model on one page

## The problem

Broker product information changes constantly. Spreads move, risk warnings are recalculated,
instrument counts change, and licences, fees, leverage and account conditions differ by
jurisdiction. Affiliate and comparison pages describing those products are maintained by hand,
from research that was accurate on the day it was done, so the same broker ends up described
differently on every site with no record of when a figure was last verified.

## The model

1. **Brokers provide the source.** Approved public product data is supplied by broker partners.
2. **BrokerMeta normalizes it.** Different broker structures are mapped into one consistent schema.
3. **Publishers connect once**, through a REST API, WordPress integrations, embeds, or MCP and
   AI-agent workflows.
4. **Data stays current.** When the source changes, connected publisher experiences can update
   with it.

## Jurisdiction

A broker is not one global product. The legal entity serving a customer changes by country, and so
do regulation, available instruments, leverage, fees, account types, payment methods and risk
disclosures. Rather than answering "what does this broker offer?", BrokerMeta answers "what does
this broker offer a retail client in the UAE?".

## Facts versus opinions

BrokerMeta supplies the factual layer — spread, licence, minimum deposit, jurisdiction
availability. The publisher keeps the editorial layer — rating, "best for", recommendation. The
data layer never encroaches on editorial judgement.

## Versioning

Values are versioned with effective dates rather than overwritten, so a change leaves an auditable
record. Publishers can show a previous value, a current value, an effective date and the source.

## Trust model

- **Broker supplied** — canonical facts come from participating brokers wherever possible.
- **Read only** — no write access to broker systems is required.
- **Public metadata** — the platform covers information brokers already publish publicly.
- **Versioned** — changes are timestamped and retained historically.
- **Broker neutral** — one standardized layer supports competing brokers on identical terms.

## About this file

Markdown version of https://brokermeta.ai/, provided under the [llms.txt](https://llmstxt.org)
proposal. The index of every such file is at https://brokermeta.ai/llms.txt.

Every broker value in BrokerMeta material is an illustrative example for a fictional
"Example Broker". No real broker is described, and nothing here is financial advice.
